A quick introduction to Bizzfo Modifiers


Introduction


Modifiers are typically used in hospitality but can also be used in retail. They allow you to:

  • Send instructions to the kitchen or workshop printer
  • Link products or recipes on the fly to a product
  • Adjust the retail price depending on the modifier
  • Adjust the cost price depending on the modifier
  • Set the cost of the item sold to the combined cost of the modifiers
  • Deduct stock qty of modifier items selected


In general it improves management of GP and stock control.



1. Create stock item as per normal. Select the created item

2. Modifier setup


  • Fixed item cost: The item, in this case; 1 Pie and 1 Coke will have its own cost.
    • This cost will be used at time of sale to determine the GP of the product
  • Adjust R: Amount to add to retail price at point of sale
  • Add instruction or a product as modifiers.
  • When adding a product the qty added will be subtracted from stock at time of sale


When adding a product the user can set one or more of the following

  • Adjust cost price
  • Adjust retail price
  • Qty of item (impact stock)
  • Instruction name




  • Use modifiers as item cost: The item, in this case; 1 Pie and 1 Coke will have the cost of all the modifiers combined.
    • This cost will be used at time of sale to determine the GP of the product
  • Adjust C: Amount to add to cost price at point of sale
