More than a POS
Most businesses end up with a till from one company, an online store from another, a loyalty app from a third, and a spreadsheet holding it all together. Bizzfo replaces that stack with one system. The point of sale, the online store, customer loyalty, bookings, stock control and the back office share one catalogue, one customer list and one set of reports.
This post follows the same order as the video above, so you can read it, watch it, or both.
Two branches: in-store and online
When you start on Bizzfo you usually get two branches: one for your point of sale and one for your online store. They sit under the same account, so moving between them is a click in the back office rather than a separate login to a separate product. You choose where to work depending on how you are selling at that moment.
The point of sale
The cloud-based POS is where in-store selling happens. You can change its colours and layout to suit your counter, and it does a lot more than ring up a sale:
- Capacity planning for your busiest periods
- Kitchen screens that send orders straight to the people making them
- Collection boards that tell customers when their order is ready
- Stock takes and wastage recorded where the stock actually is
- Cash-ups at the end of every shift
There is more on this on our restaurant POS and retail POS pages.
The online store
Switch to the online branch and you have a shopfront for your business on the web, selling the same products you sell at the counter. A customer picks a product (a pizza, say), chooses their options and add-ons, puts it in the basket and pays online. Payments go through PayFast or AddPay PayCloud, and the order comes straight through to you to prepare.
Because the store runs on the same platform as your POS, you do not keep two menus, two price lists or two sets of stock. Read more about online ordering.
Orders, delivery and tracking
Bizzfo handles delivery as well as collection. You can see every order that has been placed and exactly what was bought, and follow each one from the moment it is placed until it is done. At any point you know where an order stands, and so does your team.
A customer portal for loyalty
Loyalty is built into Bizzfo rather than bolted on. You can create a customer portal in a few minutes, switch it live and give it its own web address. Your customers sign in to see:
- their invoices
- their purchase history
- their loyalty points
- their membership details
On your side, you get reports on how customers are using it: who comes back, how often and what they spend. See loyalty and loyalty pricing.
Bookings and reservations
For restaurants, Bizzfo takes bookings and reservations. You can accept bookings from your Google listing, over WhatsApp and through your own website. Create a booking link and put it wherever your customers find you: on your site, on your social pages, or on a device at the front of house.
AI setup: open for business quickly
The AI setup assistant is built to get a new store running fast, often in 10 to 15 minutes. You can import your retail stock, load your restaurant menu items, or simply give it a PDF of your menu and let it build the catalogue for you.
It also handles everyday admin in plain language. Ask it to show you a user, or to add a new staff member with a password, and it does it. More on the AI and onboarding page.
Help when you need it
You are not on your own. Support is available from inside the platform through the menu on the left, on WhatsApp, and through our support line. Guides and how-tos live in the Help Centre.
Catalogue, promotions and stock
The catalogue holds everything you sell: categories, modifiers, images and the items themselves. Promotions sit alongside it, with discounts, loyalty rewards and bundles.
Stock control goes deep. Out of the box you have:
Smart Capture and the back office
Smart Capture lets you upload a supplier invoice and match its lines to your products in moments, instead of typing them in one by one. It is the quickest way to keep cost prices and stock on hand accurate.
Around it sits the rest of the back office: user management, an activity log, account and branch settings, payment settings, plans and billing, and imports. The full list is on the features page.
One platform, one place
Put together, Bizzfo covers your website and online sales, retail and hospitality point of sale, payments, loyalty and bookings, all in one place, with support a message away. That is what we mean when we say Bizzfo is more than a POS. It is your business operating system.
Loyalty, Smart Capture and the Wigza online store are optional add-on modules billed alongside your plan. See the pricing page for what sits in each plan.
