Changing your POS used to take a fortnight

Most people who want to replace their till do not, and it is almost never because they like the one they have. It is the setup. Here is what that job actually involves now.

The Bizzfo back office with the setup assistant open, offering to import a menu and add staff
The setup assistant does the data capture. You review the catalogue it builds and publish when you are happy.

Why people stay on a system they dislike

Ask an owner why they have not moved and you rarely hear anything about features. You hear about the fortnight: typing in hundreds of products, rebuilding modifiers, re-photographing items, waiting for a technician, and the quiet fear of the first Saturday on something new.

The product comparison was never the blocker. The setup was.

What the AI actually does

You give it what you already have. Any of these work:

A printed menuA photo of a price listA spreadsheetA supplier invoiceA PDFYour website address

It reads them and builds your catalogue — items, prices, categories, modifiers, variants. For a restaurant that means the sizes, the extras and the options hanging off each dish, with recipe costing if you want it. For a shop it means variants and barcodes.

If what you have is an existing online store, it reads the live public pages and recreates the products, descriptions and images. Because it reads the front end rather than connecting to any particular platform, what you are on now barely matters.

Moving an online store across works the same way. Paste the address and the AI reads the public front end, recreating your pages, colours, logo and up to 250 products inside Bizzfo at no cost.

You approve everything

Nothing goes live off the back of a guess. The AI builds a catalogue and hands it to you to check. You fix what it got wrong, delete what you no longer sell, and publish when you are happy.

That review is the actual work, and it is the part worth your time. Checking a list is faster than typing one.

No sales call, no technician, no new hardware

The product is the demo. There is no form to fill in and no qualification callback. You create the account yourself, at whatever hour suits you, and you are inside the real system rather than a slideshow about it.

It runs on what you already own. Bizzfo opens in an ordinary browser tab, on the laptop, tablet or phone already in your shop. No local database, no server in the back office, no hardware bundle to buy before you can try it.

Nothing goes live until you say so. Build, review and test alongside your existing till while it keeps trading. When you are ready you open the tab on the counter and start selling — you are not betting a Saturday on the changeover.

Every branch starts on a 15-day free trial with no credit card. Support is on WhatsApp when you want a human, which for most people is during the catalogue review rather than the setup.

If you are moving off an older system

Most desktop POS systems can produce a product or stock export to CSV or Excel. Upload that and the AI builds from it. If you cannot get an export — which happens — photograph the printed price list instead. That works.

We have written up the specifics of coming off an older on-premise system on replacing a legacy POS, including running both in parallel so you are not betting a trading day on the switch.

What fifteen minutes means

Fifteen minutes is account to first sale on a normal catalogue. A large or unusual one takes longer, and a business with deep supplier, recipe or multi-branch requirements should expect to spend real time on the review. The claim is that the typing is gone, not that the thinking is.

Send us a photo of your menu or price list on WhatsApp and we will run it through and show you the catalogue before you sign up for anything.

See it with your own business.
